Caitlin J Buys, MA,

LMFT, LPCC, PMH-C

Individual psychotherapy for trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and perinatal mental health.

Welcome!

Therapy is a space to better understand yourself, the experiences that have influenced you, and the patterns that may be affecting how you move through life today. My role is to offer support and clinical guidance as we explore what matters most to you.

I believe you are the expert on your own experience. Our work is collaborative and guided by your individual needs, values, identities, and goals. Together, we can build greater awareness of what you have been carrying, strengthen trust in yourself, and create space for meaningful change.

My approach is trauma-informed and may incorporate mindfulness, attachment-based perspectives, acceptance strategies, and other evidence-informed practices based on what best supports you. Exploring the past can be an important part of therapy, and our work also focuses on helping you feel more connected to yourself and more present in the life you are living now.

Mindfulness-Based Practices

Building awareness, emotional regulation, and connection between mind and body.

Community & Inclusive Care

Honoring diverse identities, cultures, experiences, and communities.

EMDR Trained

Processing distressing experiences and reducing the impact of trauma.

Perinatal Mental Health

Supporting emotional well-being through pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to parenthood.
